Martlesham Heath Radio site I worked at outside of Ipswich, England. 1973-1976
Martlesham Heath, 2130 Comm Group Detachment 7 This is the top secret recall plan for our site from 1975 that lists all of our troops dated April 15th, 1975. Just found this in a pile of old papers, just kidding about the top secret thing!
Martlesham Heath Car Roll Drinking and driving is usually not recommended but in this case it saved these two guys lives. They were thrown from the vehicle and staggered away. I saw the accident and helped hide the bottles before the police arrived.
The Queen of England The Queen was waving at my girlfriend and I as we were standing alone on a street corner in Martlesham Heath 1975 when they dedicated the new Post Office.
